Support and unconditional acceptance

1.

Life
Coaching

Life Coaching is a profoundly different from consulting, mentoring, advice, therapy, or counselling. The coaching process addresses specific personal projects, business successes, general conditions and transitions in the client's personal life, relationships or profession by examining what is going on right now, discovering what your obstacles or challenges might be, and choosing a course of action to make your life be what you want it to be.

2.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy

Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) is a talking therapy that can help you manage your problems by changing the way you think and behave.

3.

Mindfulness

It can be easy to rush through life without stopping to notice much. Paying more attention to the present moment – to your own thoughts and feelings, and to the world around you – can improve your mental wellbeing.

Some people call this awareness. Mindfulness can help us enjoy life more and understand ourselves better.

4.

Skilled
Helping

This is a model adopted by Gerard Egan which is used a lot in counselling or coaching situations where the object is to achieve lasting change and to empower people to manage their own problems more effectively and develop unused opportunities more fully.

Our Approach

As a member of the Findmyself services, we utilise frameworks, principles and processes from a large range of therapies which are constantly being developed, reviewed and made more effective.

Our learning is constant as is the availability of an endless library of knowledge. All of this is based around one key factor. To help people.

About us

We have spent many years working in various industries analysing systems and the people working in them. Much of the time is spent understanding how people interact with each other in the environments they are in. All our experience is based on being people focused.

Getting Help

We all have good days and bad days as this is all about being human and the dealing with the external influences of modern day life.

BUT there can be times when certain events trigger significant changes in the thinking process within us that result in unwanted affects on ourselves and those near to us.

We live in a society where it seems that we still feel uneasy to seek help when we have a mental health issue.

Nobody teaches you how you think and how your thoughts affect your behaviour, so it is NORMAL to be able to ask for help and support.

Talk to someone, seek help and get better.

If you have destructive thoughts get help immediately.

To admit that you need help to understand the way you feel or are thinking is NOT a sign of weakness. It is a sign that you have the STRENGTH to seek help when needed.
